Wedding Livestreaming in the North West: Because Everyone Who Loves You Deserves to See You Say "I Do"
Up North Productions is proud to launch wedding livestreaming for couples getting married in the North West.
You've found the venue, booked the photographer and spent more evenings than you'd like to admit on the seating plan. But somewhere along the way, you've probably had a conversation that made your heart sink. Someone you love can't be there.
Maybe it's your nan, who isn't well enough to make the journey any more. Maybe it's your dad, who lives in Spain and can't get the time off. Maybe it's your best friend from university, who's just had a baby, or your brother, who's working on the other side of the world. Whatever the reason, the thought of an empty seat where they should be is hard.
That's exactly why we launched wedding livestreaming for couples getting married across the North West. Whether you're tying the knot in Lancashire, Cumbria, Merseyside or Greater Manchester, we make sure the people who matter most can watch your ceremony live, wherever they are.

The guests you're worried about
When couples get in touch with us, they almost always mention someone specific. It's rarely about numbers. It's about one or two people who mean the world to them.
Grandparents who can't travel. For many older relatives, a long day, a long drive or a busy venue simply isn't possible. Missing a grandchild's wedding is something they feel deeply, and so do you.
Mum or dad living abroad. Plenty of families are spread across the globe now. Flights can be expensive, and sometimes work or health gets in the way.
Friends with new babies or young children. A wedding with a newborn in tow isn't always realistic, however much they want to be there.
Anyone who is unwell on the day. Illness doesn't check your wedding date first. A livestream means a last-minute cancellation doesn't have to mean missing out.
Your nan doesn't need to be good with technology

This is the part couples worry about most, so let's be clear. Watching your wedding livestream is as simple as clicking a link.
We send you a private link before the big day. You pass it on to the people you'd like to watch, by text, email or WhatsApp. On the day, they tap the link and your ceremony appears on their screen. That's it.
There's no app to download, no account to create and no password to remember. It works on a phone, a tablet or a laptop. If your nan can open a photo someone has sent her, she can watch your wedding live. Many families find it easiest for a younger relative to set it up on a laptop or tablet, so everyone at home can gather round and watch together.
Why not just ask a guest to stream it on their phone?
It's a fair question, and plenty of couples consider it. The trouble is that a phone livestream relies on one person holding a phone steady for the whole ceremony, and on one patchy signal. Venue Wi-Fi often struggles once the room is full, and many of the North West's most beautiful wedding spots, from countryside barns to old stone churches, have poor mobile coverage. When the stream drops just as you say your vows, there's no second take.
How our wedding livestreaming works
We livestream grassroots and non-league football matches across the North West, so we know what it takes to keep a live broadcast running when it really matters. We bring that same experience to your wedding.
Broadcast-standard equipment. We use professional cameras and kit, not smartphones.
Network bonding. We combine several internet connections into one. If one connection drops, the stream keeps going, which makes a big difference at rural venues.
Discreet, single-camera coverage. Our camera sits at the back of the room or up on a balcony, well away from your photographer and your guests.
A clear view, even from the back. Our Hi-Pod tower lifts the camera up to 15 feet high, so we can see over the heads of your guests without anyone standing in the aisle.
Private by default. Only the people you share the link with can watch. A public stream is available if you'd prefer one.
A recording to keep. You receive a professional recording of your ceremony within 48 hours, so you can relive it and share it with anyone who missed the live stream.
Wedding Livestreaming North West: Prices and Packages
We keep things simple with two packages:
Ceremony only: £499
Ceremony and speeches: £899
Both packages include the professional recording. Travel costs apply depending on your venue. We're based in Lancaster and mainly cover the North West, but we're happy to travel anywhere in the UK.
Frequently asked questions
Do my guests need to download anything? No. They just click the link we give you. There's no app and no sign-up.
Will the camera get in the way of our photographer? No. We set up at the back of the venue or on a balcony and stay well out of the way of your photographer, videographer and guests.
What if the venue has poor Wi-Fi or signal? Our network bonding technology combines several connections, so we don't rely on venue Wi-Fi alone.
Can strangers watch our wedding? Not unless you want them to. Every stream is private by default and only shared with the people you choose.
Don't let anyone miss your big day
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and the people who love you want to share it with you. With wedding livestreaming from Up North Productions, mum, dad, nan and everyone else who can't be there in person can still watch every moment, live, from home.
If you already have your date, it's worth getting in touch early.
